# Auto Strategies

If the notion of participating every week to achieve the maximum return is too daunting of a task, you can **deposit your lock** into any of our two relay strategies. Our relay strategies are meant to simplify the process by automating the voting process (into the most productive pools so you earn the maximum) as well as compounding your voting power.

Here are some highlights;

* Auto strategies **automate** your voting process passively by voting on the highest-performing pools to **maximize your returns**
* Auto strategies will continually compound your Lock to 2yrs, so anytime you withdraw your Lock its duration will be 2yrs
* There's a 1% fee for depositing your Locks into auto strategies (deducted from rewards)
* There's a 1-Epoch (1-Week) delay for claiming your USDC/actualizing compounded STELLA

At the start there will be two StellaSwap managed relay strategies:

**Strategy #1: STELLA Optimizer**

The STELLA optimizer strategy votes for the highest yielding return, converts all earning back to STELLA and locks it in veSTELLA with maximum lock. This strategy focuses on **increasing your voting power** via maximizing your STELLA stack.&#x20;

Perfect if you want to ensure your voting power & earnings increases with time. No hassle, no decay, maximum earnings.

**Strategy #2: USDC Optimizer**

The USDC optimizer strategy votes for the highest yielding pools, converts all earning to USDC that can be claimed anytime (after the 1st epoch). This strategy focuses on stability, converting all your earnings into USDC.

All earnings from trade fees, LSD rev & bribes will be converted into USDC every week, claimable anytime post-epoch.

Perfect for sitting back and earning stables. The only downside is decay, as your veSTELLA (and earnings) decreases in power over time.

Other strategies can be operated by partner platforms or even expert users, through a whitelisting process that will be communicated later. **Relay strategies have a fee of 1%.**
